Dipl.‐Ing. Ulrich Christophersen, LL.M.

Following his studies of mechanical engineering at the RWTH in Aachen focussing on process engineering Ulrich Christphersen become involved in working with intellectual property rights in 1985, initially in the patent department of a large corporation in the automobile industry and followed by an occupation in a patent attorney firm in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia. Since 1992 he is a self-employed patent attorney in Duesseldorf.

Practice Areas

In addition to his work in relation the protection, enforcement and defence of technical intellectual property rights, Ulrich Christophersen is serving as an expert for the leading European patent infringement courts in Duesseldorf. He also has extensive experience in trademark law.

Ulrich Christophersen was tutor for the European Patent Law curriculum organized by the CEIPI Section of the Robert Schumann University in Strasbourg for 14 years of his career.
